Late Friday afternoon, town police, assisted by the state police Major Crime Squad and the New Haven state’s attorney’s office, released photos of a “person of interest” known only as “Mike,” taken from truck stop surveillance videos.

Anyone who has information is asked to call police at 481-4241 or the department’s anonymous tip line at 315-3909.
