Welcome to the Front Lines

the new pres. has inherited the worst economic since the 1930s.
So what does he do he takes action ; hes orderede the closure of gitmo and troop withdrawal from iraq;eased a ban on stem cell research,extended healthcare coverage to millions of children,ousted the head of GM,moved to ease tensions with cuba,made it easier for women to sue for job discrimination,traveled tocanada,europe,Turkey,and Latin America,and set aside huge tracts of wilderness for federal protection.Oh did I fail to mention that he got the feds to stop rails on medical cannibus operations (a states right issue);
Even though he has a gun to his head; and can;t do much to stop the corporate criminals(our last presidents friends)
Thats a pretty good start

With all due respect, Sue. This is not the worst economy since the great depression. This is the deepest recession since the '80s. And as much as I commend him on the attempts to address many important issues...the out of control gov't spending in the name of economic emergency - and the manner in which they are spending it - is outrageous.

As to his efforts you speak of...I am of a concerned opinion and feel it would be disrespectful of me, in regards to your right to speak your opinion, to counter within an internet post. Debating his efforts is best left to oral discussions.
